Sally

This past week we learned of the death of a good friend, Sally.
She died after 6 some years from diagnosis of breast cancer.
She was a good woman. Sally was generous, giving, loving, helpful and a hoot!
With tongue in cheek she often made comments about the race known as humans. She noted
how much intelligence animals of all sizes have. She loved life and her partner of many years. She was an medical professional; part Indian and part Jewish. She believed in a greater power, but emphasized personal responsibility. She loved creating gourdous gourds and teaching others about it. She owned a shop selling her items, and loved to create works of art, more than selling them.
Sally was short, kinda cocky and always had a love of the Desert, travel and oh, yes,
she loved cocktail hour.
We pray you will rest in peaceful painless joy dear Sally. We will miss all of your
personal quirks and kindnesses and thank God for you being our friend.

A Son's Life Remembered:Puzzled Life in the round

These are handmade pictures of my son, Bobby, who committed suicide in 2003. He was a son, a brother, a father and a husband. He was 41. I made these (front and back)
by painting each side and gluing parts of a puzzle (like his life was a puzzle) on and added my words. Sometimes it's a sad reminder, but at other times it reminds me
of the little boy I gave birth to, and love still. Carol (click on pics to enlarge)
