PET PLATES FOR FAMILY MEMBERS

Something personal for pet lovers who think of their pets as part of their family. My dog Lacey sits in our front window all day, and with her white hair everyone who goes by sees her, and sometimes, if too close, hears her bark. Some people have told me that they always go out of their way when leaving our manufactured home park just to see Lacey in the window. One woman even said she misses seeing Lacey when she walks by early in the morning, as Lacey's not up yet in the window. So I decided to make Lacey an ID plate identifying our pet's home, like our addresses identify us. It gives me joy and I love working on this easy, new form of art.

From left top: Lacey with best friend, Tara on her left; then, my Lacey's blue plate. She's a mix between maltese and shi tzu; On the right is Baby's plate, she is a chihuahua; and below is the somewhat unique plate for Tara, who is also a shi tzu; on the right is my brother receiving his birthday gift from me, and a close up of his plate of Kayak, a Welsh Terrier.
