Welcome to Florida in the season of storms. The weather is co operating with a thunder storm this afternoon. We DO need this rain to quench our dry, parched land.
I've been reading some other blogs of artists that I am in awe of like Lynne Perrella, among others. Oh my goodness, how I long to be so gifted.
It does make me think, however. Where does the time go? I can relate to others who need a push to go into their studio and be inspired to create. We need to look everywhere, high and low, here and there day or night to see our stimulus.
Why is it so hard? I think because I am not trying hard enough. I think I need a full day or several hours to create. Who has that? Not me. There's the TV and the dog, and partner and work, you know.
Let me make a mid year Resolution to grab minutes of delight and hop in to a place that holds my creative objects like pictures and brushes and camera and paints and clay, and found items. GO There, Carol! GO!
